Empowering Seniors to Live Better Lives

Physiotherapist

Meet Travis Senior Physiotherapist, from Queensland Physio Group

With over 12 years of experience in private practice, Travis is a highly skilled physiotherapist who has treated a wide range of both acute and chronic injuries. As a Director and Senior Physiotherapist at Queensland Physio Group, he is committed to helping clients improve their quality of life and achieve better health outcomes.

Travis has a strong background in sports physiotherapy, having worked with high-profile organisations such as Gymnastics Australia, the AFL, and NRL. He also served as the head physiotherapist for both the Broadbeach Cats AFL team and the Surfers Paradise Demons AFL club for five years. While his sporting career was rewarding, Travis now focuses on helping people manage chronic conditions, particularly those related to ageing.

As we age, balance and the risk of falls become increasingly important considerations. Poor balance can lead to falls, which in turn can result in serious injuries and a decreased ability to stay independent. Travis specialises in treating conditions such as lower back pain, knee pain, and issues related to deconditioning – all of which can impact mobility and balance. With his expertise, Travis is dedicated to helping patients improve their strength, coordination, and confidence, ultimately reducing the risk of falls and supporting a more active, independent lifestyle.

Travis will be in the clinic Mondays starting December 2nd, 2024
